In the upper part the half-figure of Christ, in the lower King David palying the harph can be seen. The Hungarian miniaturist alloyed Byzantine, Romanesque elements reaching an individual style. The first owner of the codex was Margaret, daughter of King B?la IV, a nun later canonized.
